2023 Job Fairs

Find your spring or summer job at the Zoo Job Fair!

  • 9 a.m. to noon — Saturday, January 28
  • 9 a.m. to noon — Friday, February 3
  • 4 to 7 p.m. — Wednesday, March 1
  • All job fairs will be held in The Living World building at the Zoo's North Entrance

The Zoo is looking for energetic, responsible and service-oriented individuals in search of part-time positions in food service, retail, education, attractions and more.

Flexible weekday and weekend positions are available for ages 15 (work permit required at the time of hire) and up. Employees can begin working as soon as mid-spring. The job fair will include information on employment and an opportunity for a screening interview.

Part-time Help is Needed!

Energetic, responsible and service-oriented individuals are needed for part-time positions in catering and food service, distribution, retail and parking, and more. Flexible weekday and weekend positions are available for ages 15 (work permit required at time of hire) and up.

The Zoo offers wages starting at $13.25 per hour, free employee parking and an ideal working environment. Many weekday positions start at $14.75 (based on availability, experience or the ability to serve alcohol).

Residents of the Saint Louis Zoo-Museum Subdistrict are given preference.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old to apply.

Ride MetroLink to Forest Park/DeBaliviere station, then take MetroBus route #90 Hampton south (or Forest Park Trolley). The bus and Trolley both stop within a short walking distance of the Zoo's North Entrance on Government Drive.

On Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays from 9am to 5pm
The #90 Hampton will reroute around Forest Park. Service in Forest Park will be provided by the #3 Forest Park Trolley only. For detailed Metro transit schedules, pricing and to purchase tickets, visit the Metro web site.

The #90 Hampton MetroBus stops within a short walking distance from the Zoo's North Entrance on Government Drive.
